It sits on Zimbros Bay, largely occupied by residents and holiday homes, with many boats. In the area you can buy fresh fish and shellfish, harvested from the sea farms at both ends of the bay, and there are several fish shops. At 1.1 km, it is the closest starting point for the Costeira de Zimbros trail.
