Praia da Tainha
A beach of about 200 m of fine sand, with boulders, forest and rocky shores, at the southern tip of the peninsula. The name comes from the traditional mullet (tainha) fishing practiced there. You get there by car on a dirt road, or on foot by a medium-difficulty trail of about 2 km that starts at the Morro do Macaco gate on Rua Jequitibá. It has the Blue Flag for the 2025/2026 season.
